Self Esteam

This piece was made with many small character details over time, using the

digital art program Procreate. Incorporating multiple background layers, lighting

and shading techniques, and textured brushes make up the final piece. This

piece is part of a series that I’m currently working on that puts a childlike filter

over dark or depressing things about life, whether that be fears, scenarios, or

topics. There is a big pun in this piece and it's that if a child hears the word

“Self-Esteem” they wouldn’t know that it's spelled that way and spell it in the way

of boiling water, “Self-Esteam."
